What makes ELR different from other facial rejuvenation treatments?

What is Microcurrent and is it safe?

Microcurrent is also known as “electro-medicine” and has been used safely and effectively for decades by medical professionals, including chiropractors, physical therapists and MDs, to treat conditions such as Bell’s Palsy and deep tissue injuries.  Through these applications, the cosmetic benefits of Microcurrent were discovered.  Microcurrent is safe and non-invasive and works in harmony with the natural energy system of the body.  Unlike other non-invasive facial treatments, Microcurrent causes no discomfort, swelling or redness.

What is Therapeutic Light and Color?

Therapeutic Light and Color is what sets ELR apart from other electro-facial treatments.  Light and color have remarkable healing effects on the body.  By applying specially selected colored light to the correct acu-points of the body, we are able to address the specific need of each individual client.  The combination of Microcurrent and color light therapy provides positive and lasting results.

How many ELR sessions are required?

Each person is different and as a trained wellness professional, Dr. Kelley will assess your unique needs.  Generally speaking, 10-20 treatments are recommended.  However, you will notice a difference in the way you look and feel after the first treatment.  By the third session, friends and family will notice.  More dramatic results are seen around treatment 10.  Since there is no downtime required for healing, treatments can be performed consecutively under the direction of Dr. Kelley.

Examples of results from real clients:

One 40 year old woman had rosecea and was a smoker for several years.  For her, the results of ELR were immediate.  The lines on her forehead and around her eyes virtually disappeared.  Her lips became fuller.  The rosecea became less inflamed and the tone and texture of her skin significantly improved.  Like many people, she lives a very stressful and busy life and found the ELR treatments to be very calming and relaxing.  And, as a side note, her husband noticed such a change in her appearance, he acquired about treatments for himself!

In another case, a 40 year old woman suffered from cystic/severe acne for many years.  Since beginning her ELR treatments, she has not had one breakout.  Additionally, she showed visible firming in the jaw line and around the nasal labial folds.  She also saw an immense improvement in the tone and texture of her sknig and now feels as vibrant as she looks.
